There are a certain options in the windows explorer which you are uninterested in or do not use at all. In fact, you may want to keep your sidebar clean or want to put some other items in it. A cleaner navigation bar can be very convenient and easy to navigate. What you can do is delete the options that you want to delete.
Here are the steps to get the permission:
1. Press Win + r.
2. Type "regedt32" and press enter.
3. Now, go to Edit tab on top and click on Preferences.
4. Now, Select the User and deselect on deny selection box of full control and click OK.
5. Close the Registry Editor.
Steps to Hide the Items in Windows Explorer Sidebar
2. Follow the box for removal of different options:
Libraries: Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > CLSID > {031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5} > ShellFolder and change b080010d to b090010d.
Network: Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > CLSID > {F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C} > ShellFolder and change b0040064 to b00940064.
Favorites: Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > CLSID > {323CA680-C24D-4099-B94D-446DD2D7249E} > ShellFolder and change a0900100 to a9400100.To hide Computer:
1. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > CLSID > {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} > ShellFolder.3. Close the registry editor and restart the Computer to take effect.
2. In the right pane, right click and create a new DWORD Value (32-bit).
3. Name the DWORD Value "Attributes" and give it a value b094010c.
[Note: Delete the key to show computer back again]
